Biomedycyna Polska S.A. initiates collaboration with the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences.
In March of 2020 Biomedycyna Polska S. A. group began aresearch collaboration with the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences.
The agreement was signed to strengthen cooperation in pursuing shared goals, mainly through the exchange of knowledge and experience, stimulation of research and development projects as well as improving the capacity for adaptation to the constantly changing economic environment.
The mutual cooperation involves, among others, shared scientific as well as research and development projects, which pertain the development of technologies for producing active pharmaceutical ingredients, which are then used in manufacturing of drugs (including veterinary medicines) and dietary supplements. Biomedycyna Polska S. A. and Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences will jointly design clinical applications for such active substances. Included in the agreement is a clause about mutual factual supervision of proposed R&D solutions and support in selection of methodology and equipment.
Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences is one of the best specialized universities in the country. The institution has been noted for several years in the international Shanghai Ranking of the best educational institutions in the categories of food science & technology, veterinary science and chemical engineering, while veterinary and food science have been ranked as the best majors in Poland by the ranking “Perspektywy”. As a result of the last evaluation of research institutions, Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences has been awarded two exceptional grades of A+ – for the Department of Biotechnology and Food Sciences as well as the Department of Veterinary Medicine, which can also boast a positive evaluation by the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE).
Joint projects translate into benefits for both sides of the agreement, since by sharing highly specialized equipment and technology as well as the expertise of the scientists, a fusion of business and academia of the highest potential will become possible.
